For the inaugural Broadsheet Dine Out Festival in 2025, I had the privilege of stepping in as the lead consultant and program curator. This festival, a week-long celebration from August 4th to 10th, was designed to reconnect the Broadsheet community with Melbourne’s vibrant dining scene and assert Broadsheet’s leadership in the hospitality industry.

As the program manager, I didn’t just shape the festival—I built its entire foundation. I developed a tiered programming structure, crafting Tier 1, 2, and 3 events that ranged from intimate chef collabs to grand culinary showcases. Leveraging my extensive network in the industry, I brought in a lineup of stellar partners—from the iconic Carnation Canteen dinners to exclusive events with Ho Jiak and even welcoming Corner 75 down to Melbourne. I also crafted compelling presentations that won over commercial partners, ensuring the festival was not just a hit with attendees but also a commercial success.

The work extended well beyond programming—I was involved in the brand positioning, media planning, and campaign rollout. I helped refine the visual identity and tone of voice for the festival, oversaw social media content pillars and press partnerships, and ensured participating venues had the support they needed to deliver top-tier experiences. I worked across departments to make sure the festival didn’t just feel good, but functioned well—with full Notion trackers, Asana WIPs, onboarding kits for each restaurant, and a clear comms pipeline from sign-on through to post-event reporting.

The result? A sold-out program, media buzz, and an activation model that can be rolled out annually with scalability and longevity. It cemented Broadsheet’s place not just as a publication, but as an experience curator—and it remains one of the most dynamic, high-impact projects I’ve delivered to date.
