The Peroni F1 activation at Johnny’s Green Room, affectionately dubbed the "House of Peroni." As the event production manager, my role was to turn this concept into a reality, blending the high-octane energy of Formula 1 with the laid-back, stylish atmosphere Johnny’s is known for.
We partnered with KDPO, a renowned Melbourne agency, and collaborated closely with the legendary Karen Martini to curate a special menu. We introduced three exclusive dishes just for the event, alongside a unique collaboration with Pidapipo, who crafted F1-themed desserts. If you peek at Broadsheet articles from that season, you'll spot all those special menu highlights.
But the magic didn’t stop at the food and drinks. We rolled out a full campaign that included a rooftop photo shoot and worked with graphic designers to weave F1-themed details throughout the venue. On the day of the race, we transformed the space into a lively F1 viewing party, complete with entertainment systems and a series of Italian food collaborators that made it a true feast. We had a porchetta spit from Donati’s, fresh buffalo mozzarella hand-pulled by That's Amore, and a live Parmesan wheel cracking by the Studd siblings, all adding layers of authenticity and fun to the atmosphere.
In short, the House of Peroni wasn’t just an event; it was a beautifully orchestrated celebration of food, culture, and racing spirit, all seamlessly woven into Johnny’s signature style.
